Sorry, but I have to say that the KN-7000 is very unattractive compared to other boards... It just looks like Technics took a step back to the 1980's when they designed this thing.. It's so boxy, and what's the deal with the entire control panel being on a hinge? I can understand the screen, but the entire control panel????? I just don't see it as very eye catching.. The KN6500 had a much better design.. They should have improved upon that one.. I listened to the demos.. I wasn't overly thrilled about them either, but I know those are just preliminary demos and I'm sure more and better ones are on the way.... Of course this is just my opinion, I don't mean to offend any Technics fans, and If I did I apologize...

I respect your opinion ...but I like this new design fantastic.
I had a kn5000,kn6000,kn6500 and now I ordered a kn7000. I also have a Yamaha psr9000 and when I heard the demos I was not impressed ...but these demos are played through your Pc.....so you can't compare.

As a said this is my opinion and every one has another taste.
I prefer blonds over brunettes.
I prefer a Bmw over a Mercedes;
I prefer a Macintosh over a Personal Computer.
I prefer blond beer over brown beer.
My favourite colour is black....yours...

And so on....
