just a question to all you yammi folk out there..does anyone have a copy of XG works Ver 3 available for sale, or copy or whatever? i need it to run an editing module for a Yamaha PlG board that came with outdated software (Xg works ver 1.4 would you believe!!! i only just bought the card brand new in the shrinkwrap from yamaha a week ago) can you contact me at s90esman@yahoo.com.au OR if you have any advice or can point me in the right direction just reply to this post..

Hi Dennis,
actually it's a great sequencer program.
You can create midifiles, using psr styles, by simply picking a style & typing in a chord progression, and putting in the various parts, intro's, variations fills etc
( I'm not reffering to the inbuilt styles, I mean actual psr styles).

nah, no good m8, its only updates if you have the original XG ver 3.. i only have version 1.4, which of course doesnt work with XP..tried the demo link dowload too and i think its a dead link..tried the shop , and they dont even list xg works anymore...ah well, back to the drawing board..but thanks anyway for taking the time to reply

For reasons known only to Yamaha, XG Works was discontinued sometime ago. Your only bet is to find a copy left over at some store or get it off E-Bay.
