Hi there,

Anyone here know if I will have a problem transferring Korg I2 arranger styles over to the SD1? I have quite a few songs already set up and I'm used to the arrangements. I'm sure the instruments coming from the SD1 are going to sound a thousand times better though.

So does anyone see this as possible or is there like a major incompatability issue here?

The styles will not work in the Korg format. There are programs available to convert them, I'm sure. However, I think you will find that after listening to the Ketron styles, you probably won't need to convert many of the Korgs. Anytime, you convert styles between manufacturers, there is a lot of adjusting, tweaking, whatever you want to call it, to do. They never sound as good in the new instrument as in the one for which they were designed. (My opinion).
I think you will like the Ketron styles so much that you won't need to convert. But it can be done.

I guess you're right. I would just have to find some comparable styles and get used to the new arrangements.

I can't wait to own the thing. I've been playing for 10 years professionally with this Korg I2 as a one man band and a duo. Do you have any idea how aggravating it is to be only able to load 3 - 5 songs at a time? and SLOW. Sheeesh. I can't wait to have the hard drive in it. I PRESUME that songs play instantly with no true load time?

Oh I don't have to imagine. I've been playing these things since they were invented. You'll LOVE the hard drive, and yes there is virtually no load time.
