Maybe it's me, but I didn't see anywhere in the manual where you could loop a track on the GW-7. Also no style recording. At that price there should at least be a style recorder, and the sequencer (in my opinion) is extremely limited and nothing more than a 16 track sketch pad.

There doesn't seem to be a list of the sounds and styles in there, or have I missed something?

There's a list. Use the left hand portion of Adobe, and at the bottom of the (sections) side you'll see where you can click for lists of tones, styles, ect.

OK, thanks Tqueak.
The sounds aren't much different from those in the EXR-series (from the list, that is, I haven't heard any samples) except that the GW-7 doesn't seem to have any "Super Tones" like the EXR-7 and of course the huge amount of new ethnic instruments. I wonder if they use new samples for all the sounds or the extra wave rom is for all the new ethnic samples.

The price for the GW7 is under $700.00. Are you confusing the GS7 with the G70 which is much more expensive?
I think that because you can import Roland styles and save them in flash memory, this will be a very popular keyboard among musicians needing ethnic styles and sounds.

I'm not confusing the two I still think that for $700 they could have given it more juice in the sequencer and style section.

i like it's design more than everything else from the specs. still, i believe this keyboard can not and doesn't belong to the professional range.
i was rather disappointed after reading the manual, and for sure did not make me interested in buying.
indeed, roland could;ve done somthing just a little bit better. the pa50 is still the arranger under 1000$.
