I don't know if this is my imagination or not. It seems to me that lately, my Tyros has been giving too much white noise. Whether I turn up my speakers, headphones or monitors it seems that there is too much noise to signal.

I may be mistaken but I somehow remember that the noise to signal level on the Ty was barely noticable.

Another related question. I have installed my Tyros into my computer studio and am having additional noise problems because of this. I have everything running through a mixer (which I use as a router) but for some reason my Tyros cables are picking up lots and lots of noise from my USB cables - even though they are not within a foot of each other. I'm using good monstor cables so I don't know what to do about this. I'm assuming that using balanced cables from my Ty won't help either...

If you have any suggestions, I'd be very appreciative!

Chony.

Chony,

I don't have my keyboard set up right now, but if I recall, the problem is with the mic settings and I believe if you turn or, or possibly off, the Noise Gate, this will solve the problem.
