Hi everyone,

Just interested to know if any PSR9000 owners have downloaded the free styles from the italian Yamaha website at "www.yamaha.it"
(they are contained in 3 zip files), I think you will get quite a pleasant suprise if you do. If you have any problems accessing the styles because of the language barrier, please email me and I will forward them to you. Please post your comments as a further thread.

Paul (UK).

Hi Paul

I want them unless you know they are already on the Yamaha-PSR-Styles egroup. I cannot really read Italian, but it appears they are selling a Yamaha PSR9000 hard disk version 2 with 33 MB of styles! It sounds like there may be a rich source of new styles to sample if someone will make them available. Of course, they may be ones already available on the net, I do not know.

Cliff and everyone,

The italian website styles are indeed available at www.egroups.com/group/yamaha-psr-the files are "style9000.zip"
, "style4m.zip" and "style2m.zip", the first one is 9000 specific and the last two appear to be for PSR8000, but they still work very well. To my ears the 9000 specific styles are really something special, would love to hear your opinions.

It beats me why styles produced by all the Yamaha subsidaries are not available through official channels to all Yamaha customers worldwide, Yamaha clearly have some very talanted programmers in italy(for example), it's just a shame only customers with internet access, in other counties will ever hear their work. Yamaha, being the worlds biggest music company should beable to utilise it's worldwide resources to produce class leading styles, Yamaha seem to be doing themselves a dis-service by letting their subsidaries produce styles in isolation and then only making them available to the choosen few. What do you all think???.

Paul.

Hi everyone,

Sorry, the link to psr styles vault should be www.egroups.com/group/yamaha-psr-styles/. My apologies for the edited messages above, my computer must have "cached" my original posting, and I appeared not to have edited when actually I had, or perhaps I've spent too long playing the new styles and have lost all touch with reality!!!. The file names in above post should be correct.

Paul.(I had to edit this one as well, I'm not mad, it's everyone else)

Hi Paul,
thank you for your post.
Since I still own a Psr-8000, I'm interestet in the 2m.zip, and the 4m.zip. I can't seem to find them under egroups.com. I could only find the 9000.zip.
Could you please let me know where they are?
Thank you very much.
Best regards
Eric
