FYI (If you haven't seen or heard this news)

On page 57 of the Nov 2004 issue of Keyboard Magazine, Bose has a full page advertisement that includes a gift offer to current PAS/Cylindrical Radiator owners, or to anyone who becomes an owner by 12/31/2004.

The gift is a set of Bose TriPort headphones.

It says to call 800-278-1082 or visit www.bose.com/musicians_keys

Ed, ok, perhaps I may consider purchasing the PAS afterall, just so I can get the FREE headphones.

For as much as the PAS costs, they should through in a van to carry it in! Of course it could be a mini-van!

They say they are a $179 value. I was always told, you don't get something for nothing.

Think they might have subliminal suggestions built in? You will buy another radiator, you will add another subwoofer...

Scott, this would certainly be one way to address the problem of poor stereo reproduction. Think about it - in a small room you can hand out stereo headphones to everyone in the audience and they will hear a perfect, low-noise true stereo sound. For smaller audiences this would cost way less than buying a two-PAS stereo setup

Man ! Bose is THE best!
I called the 800 number, gave them the serial number, and they are shipping me two sets right away! Apparantly, they come in blue or silver, so I got one of each.

I also reported a volume spike problem that I've noticed, and they are aware of it...it's caused by the remote, and they have a version 2 remote that they supply (free of course) to registered owners. They're sending that 2nd day air because I use it so much. Hat's off to Bose ! treating me right ... whoo hoo !!!!!!

( I fully expected that kind of treatment ! )

Thanx, Mr. Ed - I hadn't seen that ad!
