Yes, Gunnar it is a serious problem!
A lot of websites are already infected!
My firewall registrated over + 1000 intruder attacks within 4 hours from various IP addresses, which apparantly seems to be caused by the new virus.
I sended an info request to my provider last night about this.
Specially as I observed when tracing a number of the IP adresses, that the Ripe server showed on all these IP adresses, "DataBase last updated on 17-sep-2001" . which looked very unlikely to me.
I received a message back today from my provider that probably the RIPE server itselve is infected as well.!
There's an update patch from mcafee as well.
