Hi Alain,
Can you possibly provide MORE information on this? Keysoft Service (manufacter of TechManager the KN6000/6500 software) has been PROMISING this release for a LONG time (over a year) now and every month the release date seems to be continually pushed back. One very important feature of the TechManager software is the ability to backup the KN6000/6500's HD-SX6 hard drive to your PC desktop computer and external storage device (hard drive, zip, CD, DVD).
I was informed (by an independent confidential source) that the reason TechManager KN6000/6500 is not ready for release, is because TechManager KN6000/6500 was written using 32-bit Windows 98 and Windows 2000 programming code. Supposedly Keysoft Service was not given the required codes needed (from Microsoft) to support transfering KN6000/6500 hard drive data to/from the PC.
As I've stated MANY times before, the ONLY reason I never upgraded (from my KN5000) to the KN6500 is because KN6500 HD-SX6 hard drive backup is STILL not possible. Until KN6500 hard drive backup is possible, I guess I will just stay with my trusty KN5000 and wait ANOTHER year for the next model of Technics KN keyboard to come out (KN7000?) or seek out another brand of arranger keyboard.
Interested in hearing feedback from others on this.
