I have a roland em2000. do I need to doa OS upgrade. I know what version I have. I see in the Roland website that there are upgrades for the em2000.

1. how do I find out the version that is on my keyboard.
2. is it safe to upgrade the keyboard my self.

I also have a solton MS60, can it be upgraded.

Thanks, MC

MC....EM2000 OS. the link below for the RAG site has a lot of information and I have copied from this site the instructions to show the EM2000 OS . Yes you can download and install yourself from Floppy the OS, that is if you need it. The latest version on my EM2000 is 1.03

For the G-1000/EM-2000, you have to turn the keyboard on while keeping pressed the "WRITE", "SHIFT" and "RESET/TAP TEMPO" buttons. The display should come up showing the keyboard model, the OS version and release date, and also the CPU BIOS version.
