According to tracking, I should have the SxA sometime today. If the hissing humming bothers me, you guys will need to go get your ears checked. My wife has to repeat every other word to me while watching TV together. It's no problem when she's not watching with me, I just turn the volume up. Hopefully she has sensitive ears and I won't even notice the humming on the SxA 100.

Whats funny is I don't notice any hissing or humming on the cheap Rogue Roller PA but I did notice a humming on the Samson EX30 that cost considerably more than the Rogue. Go figure.

The Samson Ex30 I think sounds very close to the SxA100 and it has High, Low, Reverb and Pan on each channel. But it is lacking in the over all power (the SamsonEX30).

The SxA 100 sounds great and has more power. However, I'm still stuck with carrying a reverb and a mixer around. I guess I forgot about that when I ordered.

To me if the Samson had the power of the SxA100 or if the SxA100 had the features of the Samson EX30 I'd be happy. Is that asking too much? Can't someone build something like that? I guess I'n not exactly elated.

Any of you guys have any idea of the @#% I've been carrying around laying brick for 38 years. I'm sick of hauling #$@% around.

If any of you come across a one piece unit as I described above that I can pick up and put in my van please let me know.
Boo

Alright Terry, I know what that means. I'll bite. How's it going with your new Tyros? Give us all the gory details (drool, drool)

Boo, I just checked out the specs on the Samson EX30 - looks great. With 4 channels, effects, separate eq on each channel, it's in a class of it's own. How's the sound, highs and lows, crisp or dull/muddy?

Glenn,

The Samson sounds very very good. I tried 2 "B" stock items from Music123. The first had a limiter problem because the volume fluctuated up and down when striking the keys a bit harder. The second one looked like it was dragged behind my pickup.

The biggest problem was that my 50 watt Rogue Roller PA was louder at the volume set half way as the Samson played set at wide open. Go figure.
