Check out the "2002 Digital Home Keyboard Guide" magazine from Electronic Musician this month.
It has a Roland VA-5 as a front cover and talks about all the good and bads of arrangers, or what they called "Digital Home Keyboard".
This also contains comparison sheets of many arrangers in terms of polyphony, sounds, styles...
Most arranger keyboards are being "compared" or should I say "listed", ie 9000Pro, PA80, VA7, G1000, EM series.

they have a description of the magazine .
