That IMO is a very poor attitude or very poor assumption. You would be very surprised how many people in the crowd are actually musicians themselves. I can't tell you the number of times I've talked keyboards, guitars, and drums with people after gigs.

Eddie, I think most of the public do not know, and do not care, as long as it sounds good. I guess I was speaking more of the regulars and staff. Some of them have no reservations about telling me when it's good, bad or indifferent. Ohh, WAIT, you have a Tingleairy!! I always wanted one of those. Is it the 69-key model? Did you get the Pink or Green? Is it the one with the tea-warmer built in? Sorry, just feeling silly after a rough weekend. I'm going to punish myself by playing golf, then watching the Super Bowl! DonM BTW, what is a tingleairy?
