Hi Folks,
After all the lay-offs and downsizing and pay cuts going on. My wife refuses to let me spend another dime on my music project. So I had to do some rigging. I don't have a mic stand or one of those shush thing'ies to put in front of the mic to get rid of the pops. So I took one of the wooden poles, (It's like a long torch) Put the mic in it. Stuffed some socks down at the bass so it doesn't move. Got an old metal colander took out the mesh. Took an old pair of the wife's pantyhose and stretch it around the colander. Slipped the colander around the top of the torch like pole and now the pops are gone. I'm sorry, but it looked so ridiculous I thought I'd share it!
