This is a copy of the standard factory preload disk that is included with with all iS40 & iS50(B) keyboards.

• Download the file fdd1006.zip
• Use Winzip or similar program to unzip to a temporary directory.
• Copy the files to an MS-DOS formatted DSHD floppy disk (format this on the iS40/iS50 beforehand to ensure correct type of format).
• Load the preload via DISK mode as described in the owner's manual.

This is the operating system for all current iS40 & iS50(B) keyboards (Jan2000).

This file can be downloaded and prepared on a PC/Mac computer. You will also need Winzip or a similar utility to decompress and recover the system files.

• Download the file is40-30.zip and use Winzip or similar program to unzip to a temporary directory.
• Carefully read the .PDF file for details on how to load the OS into your keyboard. Please follow the instructions carefully as incorrect procedure can cause data corruption to the internal ROM.

This is a copy of the standard Korg Midi driver for both WINDOWS and MACINTOSH computers that allows Midi communication via the computers serial port and the Korg iS40's PCIF HOST interface.

• Download the file kmd01a.zip
• Use Winzip or similar program to unzip to a temporary directory.
• Copy all files to a DSHD MS-DOS floppy disk or run direct from your hard drive.

This is a copy of the Korg OMS Midi driver for MACHINTOSH computers that allows Midi comunication via the computers serial port and the Korg iS40's PCIF HOST interface.

• Use Aladdin Expander or similar program to decompress the file.
