don't understand what you mean by dull. if you're a dull performer 2 speakers won't make you sound lively, and if you're an exciting performer 1 speaker won't be any less exciting. that's life..if what you sound like comes out of one speaker with clarity and richness, one more speaker adds nothing to that except giving you "bigness" which is meaningless musically. if fact it is detrimental in most cases. but you have to have the courage to try it to be convinced. if you don't think you sound good enough but a sound system will make you sound better, you ar mistaken.
