Larry, actually, cholesterol and fat have virtually nothing to do with coronary artery disease, though the cardiologists will all try to convince you otherwise. There is a huge amount of contradictory information about this, and from my experience in the field of cardio-pulomonary medicine for more than 15 years, I can concur. Take a look at

When I worked in the field, more than 70 percent of my patients that underwent bypass surgery had normal or low cholesterol levels and low fat intakes. There is also a longer video that should be viewed by every person taking statin medications. They have horrendous side effects, yet the cardiologist continue to prescribe them as if the side effects were no more lethal than aspirin.

Here's another link that if you take time to sit through the presentation you will get a good education on Coronary Artery Disease and it the causes.

Good luck,

Gary cool
