Hi Joe,
I had a 5'6"?? Yamaha Baby Grand for about 20 years. It was a beautiful instrument.
To me the most amazing piano I ever owned was a Yamaha Disklavier Piano upright , (the baby grand version was way beyond our budget). First saw it round about 1988/99 ??at the Sydney Music Show. Couldn't beleive my eyes, an acousic piano with midi capabilities. A player piano without music rolls, instead it used floppy disks, could also record a performance & be midied to computers/synths & keyboards. It was awesome.
Unfortunately both had to go when we moved, i've now got Clavinova CLP170, but it's still not quite the same as the real thing.
best wishes

Donny, thanks for the trip down memory lane.
