This weekend I did a small live show on my friend's wedding...
I got PSR2000 only few days ago. This keyboard is excellent. Very easy to get around and the system is excellent for live use. The vocal harmonizer works great, people were looking for girls singing in the background.

D16
TRITON
PSR2000

Hi Shakil. Great photos !! I was wondering what the box on top of your keyboards is? Almost looks like a Korg D8. Just curious.

Hi Shakil: Great setup INDEED! Thanks for sharing your pix. What type of music do you perform? Perhaps you can share with us how you integrate the Triton & PSR2000 sounds in your songs. Which sounds (from both the Triton & PSR2000), which styles, and what vocalizer harmony settings are your favorites used in your song material? Hope you can create an MP3 and share your music with us.

hey thanks guys for your comments.
Vic: I am young?!! I turned 29 in October.

I posted the pics in Triton central, but haven't gotten any comment yet. I think over there, people aren't really interested in PSR2000.

Yes that's D16 on top. I had some backup music on it for some songs that I sang. I also used it to mix both TRITON and PSR 2000, added a 7 band EQ to the final MIX which went to the PA system. This way I control what I am sending to the speakers...

I play Pakistani music.

I love the flutes on PSR2000. If you edit the preset and make the attack a little slower, it sounds excellent.

I integerated TRITON and PSR2000. Created some sytles on PSR2000 that used loops loaded into TRITON sampler. It sounded excellent. PSR2000 is very flexible and the new filing system is great, no conversion required for the style from a MIDI file.
I started on TRITON sequencer. Made some loops, and exported as GM. Then on computer added markers and change file extension.. viola!!! a new style using sounds from PSR and TRITON!!!
I used flutes, electric guitars and ethnic plucked sounds, style KIT from PSR and synths, leads, pads, ethnic percussion and loops samples from TRITON.

PSR2000 opened a whole new world of possibilities for me. TRITON and PSR2000 MIDIed together... a powerfull combination, add D16 to that.
I am pretty happy with the purchase of PSR2000. I know I am set for a lot of years to come. I haven't had PSR 2000 for long time. And I didn't perform live much with Only TRITON, because I am not in any band. Well, now I can perform on my own. I am looking forward to use PSR2000 to it's fullest extent.

I haven't recorded any music made with PSR2000 yet, but if you would like to hear my compositions on TRITON here is the link.. http://www.mp3.com/GreenAndWhite

Vic83: I didn't find any new oriental sounds.. I know the flutes are a LOT better... Also, there is an Arabic Drum kit, which I think has very low volume, I had to insert a compressor to boost it up.

Looking forward to integrating my new 2000 with the PA80...not exactly a Triton but still has those great Korg sounds and Triton engine. My two already seem to compliment each other well I think, and I'm pleasntly surprised at how good the 2000 sounds and love it's ease of operation. I barely have to read the manual at all to access and use any of it's functions. Anyone who has experience at all with the PSR O/S should have a relatively easy time navigating this board. I will be using the 2000 for live performances more than the PA80, because it seems that it would be easier to navigate live even after only 2 days with it than the PA80 which I've had for 6 months, but I think I'll also use it at least somewhat for composing my own stuff too, in tandem with the PA80, which has some excellent sounds of it's own, pro level synth editing features, and sampling due out in the next OS. I too feel that I am set with boards for quite a while. I really liked my trials of the new Roland Fantom and the Yamaha Motif, but unless some unexpected funds come my way, I'm going to stick with what I have for a while and wait at least a couple of years and see what new innovations arrive on the workstation / arranger scene. I have always enjoyed playing the PSR 9000 and wished I had had the funds to get one, and while the 2000 isn't quite a 9000, it is a nice alternative at its' price and I'm very happy with it so far. It is quite a nice step up from my 740.
