The action used in the PC2X and K2600X should feel very close to PC88's and K2500X that have been built in the last year. There have been some signficant changes in the materials used to greatly improve durability.
The action on the PC2 (76 key) is an action that we have not used before in any previous product. It is semi weighted like the K2500 and K2600, but its slightly different...I guess its slightly lighter and definitely faster.
The action in Ensoniq's ZR-76 is a Fatar action, so is an Alesis QS8, but the action that Kurzweil buys from Fatar is unique to our instruments.
Just a side note: the action used in Korg's Triton ProX is actually a Yamaha keyboard. It may not be indentical to the S80 but its a similar mechanism.
