Anyone know... I have it set as...

Vocal Harmony setting = L35>H

I think the Harmony vocal is too prominent in the mix and I want LESS harmony. Which is which? How do I reduce harmony vocal? I read the manual and it's unclear.

The L if for Lead, the H is for Harmony.
You have L 35 greater than H.
I think I set the Lead at 60, or whatever is full volume. Don't recall the actual way to set it, but it was easy in the microphone settings page.

Bill,

Without the keyboard in front of me I have a tough time remembering the procedure for the 2000. However, you must go into the mic seting/vocal harmony screen, then select mic setting. At the bottom of the screen, you will see a knob the is labled BAL. and beneath it is L=H. Press the bottom of the #4 button at the bottom of the display screen, then using the scrolling wheel turn it till the reading is L35>H. This means the lead is 35 percent higher than the harmony. If you want less harmony, adjust the L reading to a higher figure. The maximum is 63, which means you would have just 37 percent harmony, which is very low. Save this information to a registration, be sure the mic box is checked in the registration settings memory box, then it can be recalled.

Yes, I found out HOW to make the change, I just wasn't sure which way to go with it. I assumed it meant I should make the number higher.

Gary, if you read this again... the Reg I have called "Setup," that is what I push when I first turn on the keyboard. To make it like I want it (changing vocal harmony)... is this right?

1. Turn on keyboard.
2. Push button for registration called "Setup."
3. Make vocal harmony change that I want, such as make it L45>H.
4. Save the registation again as "Setup."

In other words, I want to continue to use the Registration settings we did for the "Setup" button, except I want to increase the lead vocal part.

You've got it Bill. I have a few minutes before loading up the gear for this evening's job, then gotta put on a tux and try to look pretty. Hmmmmmmmm! Might take more than a tux to accomplish this--better talk with Miss Clairol too.
