I only got my jx last week, but in that short
time I have already found that its sooooo much better than the MC303. Havent started using cubase with it yet, as my pc is ****ed, but im sure it will crank.
I reckon go for it.

Have fun

1) Read this.
2) Power down your computer (unless you're hosting a web or something like that).
3) Go to bank and withdraw money.
4) Buy one!

Those of you who've been here awhile know I've had my ups & downs (mostly downs, ) with Roland, but this "cool blue unit" flat-out ROCKS! I don't do rave, or dance, or techno, or any of that groovesynth stuff - I bought mine because A) it's the lowest-priced synth in it's class with 64 voices AND knobs, and B) the keys themselves have a really nice feel. The sounds as supplied are good for all that dance stuff; I can't use them for what I do, but by crackey I sure can edit them into cool tones, and there are 256 User locations. Besides, having all that groove stuff in there is nice when my muse is on vacation. Not only that, but the manual is SUPERB. They've finally gotten a clue at Roland. I like mine a lot; you can probably tell.
