Hi Guys!

Having a prob getting my A90EX to transmit sysex strings using the AUX section!
I've put the string in using EDIT:AUX and that looks fine but it won't transmit the string! Is there a specific value I need to set in the External pallette for the AUXes to send sysex or anything else I need to do?

Any Ideas will be most appreciated!

I think that the aux button includes an sysex address to be edited by the slider data parameter.

I can't edit a complete sysex including F0=data=F7 to an external sound module in the auxiliary button.

When I include de F0 byte it seems that the buffer does not accept a non data byte to be edited.

I'm supposing it works only to Roland internal sysex format, i.e. adresss + data.

Thanks Robert!

The tutorial says that you can change the value of the sysex data in real time by going to EXT:AUX1/2 but is the sysex string as a whole transmitted when you change from one performance to another?

Hi
It is designed to be a 'real-time' sysex transmission similar to sending a CC message with a Slider - it sends the Sysex Header that you have entered into the AUX plus the value of the Slider as you move the slider.
Changing Performances doesn't cause a message re-transmit.
