i decided i should let it go. i had a buyer who gave me a good price and since i didn't need a full-featured arranger so much lately, it would be a pitty to loose the chance. i might buy a GW8, as it is the closest thing to the E60, and is not so expensive. i'll use it more in connection with my computer and software programs i have installed, but also i can perform live when needed. so, sad day today. tomorrow might be better!

E60 is a great keyboard. my philosophy is to change the keyboards every second year or so. this way they don't loose their value too much, and you can easily find a buyer. i agree there are keyboards that are worthy to keep longer, but i did not own any of these. so, do not feel any way strange. keep your E60 as long as you feel like it, and use it for making great music!

My philosophy is nearly the same, only I change about every three years, or roughly with each new model. I lose very little, and dividing the loss over a period of three years, it is just small change...most people spend far more on their hobbies or leisure activities. Because I gig, the instrument pays for itself very quickly. Staying with a certain brand is that you learn a common OS and when you do decide to upgrade to a newer model, there is a much smaller learning curve. I would say I use 100% of my arrangers...mostly because it is part of my job to know it in depth, but also I enjoy digging in to it's capabilities. You will find having a new instrument will give you a boost...I know it does for me. Good luck. Ian
