Many Thanks to all for your help so far with my new Audya 4 module
I have one other problem and was wondering if you might know the answer,

When I plug in my usb cable to my Audya 4 and then to computer nothing happens and I am not getting a window telling me it has been recognized.
Is there some settings I need to configure on the A4 ?

Thanks in advance

Rusty

I don't have a Audya but I know on some hard disk recorders, you have to go into the external device (in this case, the Audya) and actively open the link to the computer.

If that's not it, I'm sure someone will be able to guide you.

Good luck-

Rusty,

I had the same problem, it ended up being a windows issue on that computer, I tried another laptop and it found it right away.

Just checking but you are pluging unto the usb port in the back correct?

If the Audya is using a driver that needed to be installed on the PC....keep in mind ..if you are using Windows XP..it can only run a limited number of drivers..
Even if it appeared the driver installed, if XP, exceeded the number it will not work..

This may be why one of Frank's PC didn't work..

I have found this from experience..and had to uninstall some drivers I no longer needed before the PC driver worked..
