The Tyros4, seems to be an overpriced keyboard with very little advanced features compared to their previous model (Tyros3)..

And when compared to previous competitive models from Roland , Ketron and Korg..it just doesn't command the "Big" price tag...


What do you think? Is Diki right, in is "lurking" post"

Russ, my regard for you, which I previously thought could rise no higher, has once again leaped upwards by yards! Were you born with this insight, or did it come as painfully as some others here? (insert tongue in cheek...!)

Mind you, my regard for Fran, preferring to hide behind MY statements to start his OWN 'bicker-thread' might have lost an inch or two

Naaa, I just didn't want to hijack the "Lurker" post...

I've nothing against Yamaha or any other brand, but...yes, I agree. I would feel less so if it had the build of a Roland G70 or Korg PA2XPRO. Then again, I would feel the same way if both latter keyboards were all plastic. Doesn't mean I wouldn't want one. Hopefully with 76 keys.

Just an idea, but if you want to creep up behind someone and mug them, don't yell 'I'M CREEPING UP BEHIND YOU TO MUG YOU!' at the top of your lungs as you do it...

Diki was not the sole arbiter on this issue, but Fran, as you promoted him to that position, well then what Diki saw along with others is correct. In my view only, of course
