So, why do you think Korg bumbled the PA3X demos?

For instance, when the PA1X/PRO came out Korg gushed praise on it and also provided scads of "professionally" produced demos for the public to listen to. Same thing with the PA2XPRO. But Korg has really dropped the ball with the PA3X/PRO in my opinion. My question is why do you think that is? My own guess is that Korg realizes the PA3X/PRO is nothing out of the ordinary or that significantly distinguishes it from a PA2X (or PA1X) and indeed the public has already compared it to a PA2X (and/or PA1X) with black paint instead of silver paint. If the PA3X/PRO was something considered "revolutionary" you could rest assured Korg would have touted it to a greater degree than they's done and would have provided a multitude of "professionally" produced demos for the public to devour and scrutinize. Since Korg has done neither it makes you wonder if they've 'lost' their music passion and strive for excellence and now with the passing of Korg company founder Tsutomu Katoh if indeed Korg will "lose" its way as a formidable keyboard company in the months and years ahead. Hopefully they won't but Korg's outright 'marketing flop' concerning the PA3X/PRO doesn't bode well for them in my opinion. On the other hand when the PA3X/PRO starts showing up at dealers and there are people out there willing to take the plunge sight unseen (more like 'sound' unseen huh and word filters back that Korg is charging an arm and leg for a "black" PA2X/PA1X, people will probably be quite upset and Korg could have a "white elephant" on its hands (dressed in black of course) and overall sales will drop dramatically as a result most likely. Why would people pay a premium for a top of the line arranger keyboard when the previous version is basically the same thing sound and feature wise as the new version? Sad to say, the current crop of PA3X demos have only enforced that perception in my opinion. I would also imagine a lot of people are listening to the demos on cheap laptop/desktop speakers instead of playing them through a decent sound system. A "mediocre" PA3X demonstration is further degraded when people listen to them on rinky dink speakers needless to say. BTW, I'm not trying to accuse anyone on this highly distinguished well respected audio discerning keyboard forum that members aren't taking the time to listen to the demos on a competent sound system and then judging accordingly. Lurkers perhaps, but not Fran, Dan, Don, Donny, Jim, Jack, John, Smitty, George, Bill, Scott, Dennis, Chas, etc., right? Right?? Just as I suspected. All the best, Mike
