Guys, that looks like an incredibly good deal for those classic Roland styles...even the styles from the old cards are included, and most of them were very good, indeed. I used to have the big old Super Card that had all the available cards in one unit.

Good find, Frans.

Yes Ian I also like those old Roland styles. I am interested in this module again smile
Btw you mentioned the QY series from Yamaha. I owned 2 of these modules in the past the QY10 and QY20 and I loved them. If Yahaha decide to bring out a new one I probably buy one.

I remember a favorite of mine was the Easy Eight card...eight styles, and, almost every style was usable, and not one was overdone...simple, but effective.

It was quite a bit of money for styles, and most cards only had four styles...the Easy Eight was a bargain.

That's why I ended up getting the Super Card...only to find out, Roland was switching to floppy discs.

The old QY series...great little rigs...I remember using one (a QY20) on a plane and the young lady next to me couldn't believe what it would do....it was in a little case the size of a VHF video tape...certainly a great conversation piece. wink

For use at home, or in a hotel room, I had the Novation MM10 keyboard which let you slot the QY20 (or QY10) into a space in the top and allowed you to use real keys, plus it streamlined some of the operations a swell.

I just like to see Yamaha come out with an S910 as a module, but, I don't hold much hope for it.

Ian

No I don't think Yamaha or Korg come out with a arranger module. But you never know. I will be interested in a Yamaha arranger module if the price is right.
