Well, if they would have added those keys, the KMA would have given both T4 and PA3X a run for their money.... Cant imagine anyone spending $4000 dollar on an arranger if they can have almost the same for $500.
(Sorry Ian, but i could not resist the urge)
Almost the same? Ha ha! Thankfully we don't hear things with the same ears. The KMA sounds okay for 10 year old technology, but, one would be silly to even try and compare it to a slinky PA3X, let alone the mighty Tyros4. But, there will be those who dare. Ian

[Contrary to what some others may be saying, I'm very impressed with the Korg microARRANGER's "out of the box" sound, and I believe Donny Pesce's impressive micro ARRANGER demos, so quickly recorded by him simply using the KMA's "out of box" factory setting, and only a couple of days after he got it, supports this. Scott Donny's terrific demos have sold more microArrangers than anything else said on this forum. And now, he's selling it? I guess his work was finished, and his mission accomplished. Bravo Donny! You are my hero! You have really earned your title, "The King of SZ"...you have made a lot of people on SZ very happy! Ian

Ian Maybe Korg or Yamaha will have me at NAMM next year demoing some arrangers..... I've been offered Demo jobs in years past by a few Music stores & companies no longer in business....just didn't have the time to devote to it with a busy gig schedule...I have done arranger appreciation shows also at libraries, clubs, etc.. I would love to show off the features of arranger KB's to people maybe in my later years..?..

I know several people that became very interested in the KMA because of your demos, but, unfortunately most were put off by the baby keys...however, the latter may look into a PA-50SD, especially if they can enhance it with John Smies allegedly excellent programs. Demoing/clinician work is very personally rewarding (financially as well), but remember, you must know the instrument inside out because there will be questions. But, I'm sure you could handle it. The world is your oyster. Ian
