Hi Scott,
it's great they're giving you some tutorials.
Only thing it doesn't allow for is if you've used an intro/ending in your sequence. Regrettably all intro's /endings aren't the same length between the styles.
Don't know if it's an option on the KMA, but in the PA800, you have a drop down menu in step record mode ( that's the mode where he changed the variations & style etc) where you can actually delete or add measures. So for instance, if you recorded your backing track with an intro that was just say, 4 bars long, & then you decided on a different style for your backing, but the intro was only 2 bars long, you can literally CUT out those 2 bars from the original backing track recording.
Saves redoing the whole thing. Might be an option on the KMA also??
It's a great system, the fact that you can go back , Edit a Chord, add a fill, try a different variation, try a different style, without having to rerecord the whole thing.
Again, don't know if it's possible in the KMA, but in the PA800, once you record your backing track, you go to full sequencer mode ( multitrack mode ), & you can record additional tracks to your backing sequence..
