Hello all! I donīt know if someone can help me, but iīm struggling with a question that i canīt understand about bass on audya arranjer.
Iīm gonna explain with an example in order to make it easy to understand ..
Suposse that iīm playing a song on arranjer with any bass line ... that goes with sequence D minus / F major / C major major ... when iīm playing it sounds nice , because when i change from "D" to "F" the octave in the bass it will go down.
Now i make a change decreasing the tone in (-3) .. i will be playing now in following sequece (the same but with -3)
: B minus / D major / A major ..
So my problem is that my line has changed in octaves ...
D major will be played in an higher octave that had played my F chord or note, in first sequence and i didnīt want.
I wanted to go down in this sequence too, and note make the goes down in this D major. I wanted D major (second chord that i play) in a lower octave than B minus, the first chord that i play) ..
I tried to change all configurations for bass in style mode but i canīt reach my objective, iīm thinking now that itīs not possible, because the arranjer always play the notes in the same octave, and the arranjer always play B note in a lower octave than D note, is this really true ?

I would really aprecciate some help, because i donīt have anybody to help me, and i would really like to understand if this that i want is it possible or not. If you want i can explain it better what is my problem. I tried my best ..

Best regards to all,
and thanks your assistance

Ricardo.

Ricardo,

Go to STYLE MODE - BASS 1/2 - and set BASS ALTERNATE = ON

This should do the trick.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply Ketron_AJ. Unfornately i have already tried to change bass alternate to on, but didnīt solve my problem. I noticed that when you change this option to on, the bass starts playing the lowest note in A note instead of note E. But the problem still mantains because like i said , I have to play the sequence (chords) -> B minor / D major / A major. So B is still played in the lowest octave but then D chord still being played in the same octave. I have to had the D major chord being played in an octave lower than B octave. I have to had my change progress coming from up to down with this two chords.

In a normal electric bass the lowest note is E.

On my SD1, I have an option to set in the style if the bass is a 4 strings or 5 strings bass, to allow to go under the E.

So is this option available in audya too, or itīs true that what i want is not possible ? Iīve already thought about that, because as you are saying itīs true that a bass canīt play under E .. unless you have 5 strings bass .. Iīm struggling on it .. :\

Couldnīt find nothing . Is it possible that Ketron Audya arranjer canīt do nothing under the low E (think itīs -2) octave. I think iīve tried all and there is no possibility to do something that makes a progression chords from B- to Ré Chord lowering the octave .. !! .. Someone can do it with Audya ?? Sorry my persistance but iīm really struggling on it :\

Great for your help,
Ricardo

Hi,

I think in the style customise buttons ie, re intro you check the bass root, should be the next button to re intro in the customizable section.

Hope that's right?
