Yup ... that's why my VLT2 is for sale! I need that extra guitar processing.
Thank goodness the buying freeze is over.

You needed that VLT2 like a hole in the head! Besides - you need a PEDAL to use it best! lol

It's a "clean" thing .... the VLT2 sounds better, has more options, more voices etc than the built in unit .... although, the one inside is DAMN good. I just don't need to carry and set up more stuff. 90% of my work is fine with the minimal setup. The real "meat" comes from the other side of the mic, and I'm in control of that without any gimmicks. I just want to give my audiences the biggest, fullest sound ... and do it better than most of my competitors in the area ... for a slightly higher price. That way, we're ALL happy.

Ouch!! eek2 no one even congratulated me on 11 months clean of switching keyboards, got the S-950 since February...certainly a record for me .. but I Know Dave's unfreezing is very contagious!! rolleyes I hope to make it one more month and have one year under my belt. dance2...IMO the VL1,2,3 are Much Too HUGH to carry around to gigs what is TC thinking? And to complicated for the normal player...a simple small unit is what we need on stage like the Hm only with an upgrade to "TALK" to KB's in a more friendly way.. confused It shouldn't be bigger then the Harmony M in size. wink better yet Yamaha should completely redesign the so called improved VH2 which is still an underachiever in the tracking department for sure mad ......I hope they are reading this also.

That size is nothing compared to what we used to have to carry around--a group of girls singing backup!

When you hit one year on the S950, I'll take you sailing, feed you some steamed crabs, and stock the boat's bar with your favorite beverage. How's that for a deal?
