How Big is the display? Is it a touch screen... A decent screen, full color but smaller the t5, no touch.. You can see it at the website linked above Personally i think you are way better of with the sd7 Because all the things i really really love on the T5 are still not on the psrs970 - sa2 voices - organ world (except for the b3 that is medicore) - ensemble voices - great 76 key keybed, i have grown to love it - totall user interface - still not compliant with T5 expansion packs Sd7 has more to offer the s970 for sure..

Donny, what difference does it make to you, the guy that just spent more than 3-grand on a new Ketron and trying to unload your s-950. You stated in another post that the Keytron addresses all the things you didn't like about the S-950, therefore, you're not gonna go back to Yamaha, at least for the immediate future. Fagetaboutit! Good luck, Gary

I disagree with my learned colleague Don Mason. There are lots of guys and gals on the PSR Tutorial forum who had other brands of keyboards in the recent past, and some, such as Bill, who just added a Korg to his array of boards. Now, he is probably right in that Yamaha will sell one Hell of a lot of the new S970s when they become available here and abroad. Lets face it - it's one Hell of a good sounding machine with a huge array of great features. Why wouldn't it sell? All the best, Gary

Bachus, I didn't mention anything about upgrading from a 950 to a 970 - that just ain't gonna happen, at least for the most part. However, those that are still playing a 900 or 910 would likely jump into a 970, which would be a big upgrade. All the best, Gary
