Well, I just tried reading the screen from a 15 degree angle from horizontal, and I had no problem reading the screens. However, in order to see to tabs at the top of some screens, you must be almost directly over the display. I rarely use the tabs, but I guess, for some, it could be a problem. Of course, you could revert to what we did in the old days, raise the back end of the keyboard with some rubber door-stop wedges. ![smile smile](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/smile.gif) Gary ![cool cool](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/cool.gif)

I think Donny, when it comes to PSR they want to keep it more home (toy like) even we all know it is not. PSR-S970 = $1995....T5 = $5,000...WOW what a spread...they need a middle of the road machine.
I think we finally got them to listen when it comes to PRO players & Tyros...now we need for them to wake up on the PSR in some ways (I know it is a very nice set of keyboards overall) Tyros might be pro in sound but not in design for the gig musician at all it,s too big and heavy to lug around every day. The S970 is fine they just have to listen to the REAL gigging players and add a few more needed navigational features like a larger Tilt display, better quality tracking VH2, Smf/style converter, CS, indented grip handles on the sides, Tyros keybed, sliders, redesigned MFD that can save transpose, & change song file text size, XLR mic input, no wall wart, etc,... some of the things things we have been asking for and charge another $500+ big deal..hope they are reading this.

I have the S-950, and the only time I saw a 970 the display was even easier to read. Also, as for the tabs, they are readable when highlighted. Donny, I never had a problem playing when I tilted the keyboard(s). Didn't have to tilt them very much to see everything on the display. Just a few degrees did the job. You must really sit a lot lower than I do while performing. I thought I recall you saying that you just use one of the chairs where you happen to be playing? That may have something to do with it. I use the Quick Lock stool, which is probably a foot or more higher than a regular chair. Gary ![cool cool](/forum/images/graemlins/default_dark/cool.gif)
