Although a good Mic It's not the mic it's the singer..... just sayin' If you truly believe that's true, then try singing through a cheap, uni-directional mic with no effects, record it and post it here for comments, one way or another. The frequency response, polarity, diaphragm size, frequency range, feedback rejection, and much, much more really go a long way in enhancing the vocal qualities of any singer. If this were not the case, we would all be using $29 mics while on stage instead of spending $300 to $600 for our stage mics and thousands for studio mics. Happy New Year, Gary

I'm among the privileged individuals on the forum that had the opportunity to see and hear UD perform live at a couple locations. He is one Hell of a singer, utilized vocal control to its utmost, and while I'm confident he would sound good with a $29 mic, I know how wonderful he sounds using a high quality mic and PA system. You only get out of the system what you put in. Remember the old PC acronym, GIGO. It definitely applies to audio gear. Gary
