I love this set up,,

E-A7, Marantz voice rover, and V stand.

My quickest efficient set up (5 minutes set up).

And adapts to any room situation..

Today I played my second 150+ job in a row.. Senior centers!!!

This was a new place I have never been to..

When I walked in I asked the desk folks where do I set up.. thinking second floor or such... They told me in front of the piano, and motioned to this large room.. How large was it?

The player area had a grand piano, facing rows and rows of chairs, and beyond that table settings.. The clincher 3 sided balcony.

It was like a wedding in a high cost room.


I couldn't do a sound check, so I guessed at a setting and asked the cute girls (aids) to let me know about volumes.

At first when I pushed the volume level of the E-A7 with mic input ,I could hear it on the edge of feedback(probably the E_A7 speakers).. I realize now that if I kept the E-A7 at the original play volume and just boosted the Marantz, I would have no volume problems.

I didn't know what material to play but with my set up I can switch gears without worry..

My only problem .. a large room and no clock.. I usually know the time by my song selections... I missed today by 3 minutes to early.. I don't think anyone noticed..

There isn't a better keyboard for playing senior centers
