Hi Alan
I simply run the vocal into my mixer and out to the external speakers. You could put a 1/4 plug into the headphone jack as well.

To turn off the internal speakers in the KN7000 select Program Menus, Sound, Monitor Setting, Off. Output is still available from the external speakers.
Cheers Len C.
Hi All Len's method is the one that I use with external speakers. I feel that if the facility is provided by the KN7000 then it's probably best to use it. Whenever the monitor is set to off - it displays 'monitor off' on the screen. However, once the KN7000 has been switched off it defaults back to the internal speakers being switched on.
John Thank you John and everyone else for your help, I am surprised at the response, this group is quite unique, I hope it continues to operate for quite some time. Best regards Alan ------------------
