As a guitar player, I thought you'd be interested in this.
In 1967, I bought a Hagstrom III. Amazing piece of work, extremely
fast neck, and lots of versatility.
Well, my brother, stole it from me in the late 70's and it ended up in a pawn shop, and from there, it was history.
I'd always loved that guitar and wanted to try to find another. Yesterday, I found a Hagstrom II(1975) in an obscure music store, someone had brought it in to sell on consignment. It's even the same burnt mahogany finish.
Long story short...it's now part of my collection. It's seen some rough times and rough handling, but she's found a good home, and sounds just as pretty as my old one.
Good things come to those who wait.
