Gang-
Our 9 year old Pug seems to be less sure of himself as he moves about our home. This has been going on about a week or so. He seems to be "navigating" more by sound and scent than by vision. Jumping from the couch or out the front door seems difficult, almost scary for him. We've also seen him walk into a gate and some furniture...
If I take my open hand and quickly move it toward his nose, he doesn't flinch...Very slightly when my hand almost touches his face, but that could be he senses a change in wind or something....
He's an indoor dog except when we let him out to go the bathroom. He's fed a weight control dog food made by Iaams. He's been very healthy ever since we bought him as a new born almost ten years ago. He's a pure bred and have papers, shot history, registrations documents, etc...
We'll be getting him into the Vet 1st thing Monday morning...
Ideas?
Thanks-
