Take Roland’s last couple of arrangers - The EA7 has a decent sampler, and can play audio loops as multipads. The BK9 could also play audio loops in sync with styles and SMF’s. But Roland provided ZERO content for any of these features, and consequently what could have been extremely competitive arrangers ended up being the death knell of the brand.
Relying on your customers to provide the content isn’t a good bet!
