There's the low down in North Carolina and the track it's going to take over the next 6-12 hours (red curve). As it travels from the Outer Banks, NC area to the region just SE of New England, it will rapidly strengthen. As this occurs, the line of freezing (white line) will move SE and offshore making it cold enough for everyone to snow and stick. Until then (which shouldn't occur until afternoon), the line of freezing cuts through NJ and will be working it's way SE. This is why the SE lighter blue and pink regions on my map from last night have less accumulations. I wouldn't expect areas along/SE of I-95 to go over to snow until later today though. This thing hasn't even started yet besides some light initial front-running precipitation. Be safe!
