I think everyone has to buy whatever they need for the budget they have to work with and their own musical taste. My attraction to a module is very simple. Like most of the forum members I am getting up in age (soon to be 71) and anything that will lighten my load is worth a try. I often play twice a day and on a few days 3 times a day - all at different sites. So, carrying around lighter gear is a plus for me. But, the overall sound has to be first rate - my clients can tell the difference and are very vocal if they don't like what they hear. I intend to try the BK-7m with a midi controller at a few of my gigs and if it is well received it will be a keeper - if not it will be for sale.

Your point about price is well made and whatever gear your ears prefer is where you should spend your money.
